Job Descriptions
Coordinate on all aspects of Import/transit Clearance from per-alerts to empty container return.
Open the file on per-alert & ensure all the necessary documents are in order to lodge the file.
Track the Vessel arrival, arrange for the DO/Permits, liaise with the transporters for trucks in advance. Coordinate & follow-up with Inhouse Operations team & Clearing agent till the issuance of loading permit.
Liaise with external stakeholders such as Shipping line, TRA, TPA, TICTS, RRA, BRA… etc. & other government department on very stage of the Clearance.
On time updates & tracking report of container movements to be transmitted to the parties through emails.
Follow-up with transporter, agents & end Customer to resolve the issue if any in the consignment transit & clearance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient with English language (Written & Spoken), email Communication & MS Office Minimum of 1 year experience in Clearing & forwarding.
- Knowledge of TANCIS, Dar Salaam port process and procedures
- Certificate preferable in Clearing and forwarding
- Able to work in multi-culture environment at least already worked
